question about saving files?

ok, to everyone who does art on this site. and theres alot of you. could you tell me what you save your files as before you upload them onto this site.

i normally save them as bmp files bacause saving them as jpeg makes them bitty. hard to explain what i'm talking about by bitty but hopefully you get me. the pixels go funny arond edges and stuff...

anyway, i'd just like to know how you get round this and if theres a way. appreciate it :glomp:

not really too concerned. most of the art i've seen has the same sort of thing unless its vector stuff. just like to know cause it'd make me happy :D

when i was reading that i was thinking 'wait, hasn't this been done already in another season?' and yeah its says at the bottom it happen in season 4. so why now and not season four? i'm confused at that but its not really the point of the article so i'll move on.

honestly, in my opinion, i don't get why people are making such a fuss over it. the're just making them a different race and asking them to act to show the race's culture or traditions. i dunno i didn't watch the episode, i don't even like the show, my sisters watch it and i just happen to be there.

maybe its the mixing of the races thats so wrong to people? i honestly don't get it.

then again, maybe i don't know. call it controversial but sometimes i think people overreact when race is involved. i mean, yeah ok, someone calls someone else a 'black bitch' or something, yeah thats racism but picking on a show that doesn't mean any offense to anybody and which has a host thats mixed race seems a bit silly to me. then again, i'm white maybe i don't know (and no offense to anything i just said, just in case ;p). what do you think about it? ;p

Oh, I could care less about it, I just thought I'd send it to you because we were just chatting about it. I saw it on my Yahoo! news report headline. I know Tyra, but I never even heard of the show! :lmao: I guess I feel somewhat like you, I think people make too much of a big deal out of race. Hopefully one day in the far, far future, we will have all f**ked each other and it will be just one big melting pot of mixed races and they'll be no more of this so called "race." ;-) But then again, people will just find a way to find some kind of difference to be prejudice. Unfortunately, i think it's embedded in us to divide into groups. :-(

(By the way, please excuse my poor language)

haha, yeah, theres so much variation between mixed race people that we'd still be able to seperate people into different races. shame really but you're right, we'd just find something else to split us into groups, nationality, gender.

i always feel uncomfortable talking about race in case i say somthing offensive and come across as racist.
the only thing that anyone ever said to me was 'you wouldn't know, you're not the ethnic minority' when i tryed to voice my opinion. i had to walk away to avoid hitting them.

is english not you're first language then or have i read that wrong? if it not believe me no one can tell ;p

Yeah, I would imagine discussing the "race" issue would make you (a white person) feel uncomfortable. I would just keep that kind of conversation between you and your friends, and then even that can be a bit risky. ;-)
